It was this that gave me the idea...
I even love the white bird. (still wondering if I should add the bird yet) I wanted to add more colour though, and so this is what I've got so far...
After putting it all together I realised that it was a little small so I'm adding a couple more rows.
It's made up of a standard drunkards path block. It has been a little fiddly to make as each block is about 5cm square (2 inches) but the finished product was worth it.
So what do you think? I would love to hear if you have any suggestions.

I love it - I can absolutely believe it was fiddly but, as you said, worth it! What about a bird, but in a brighter colour?

ReplyDeleteAhh so this is your doll quilt, it is gorgeous. I did drunkards path too mine are 3" squares as I thought 2" would be too hard, I admire you for this and did you machine sew it too..amazing. I am blown away by your quilt, it is perfect.
