This week I've been working on a quilt requested by a friend for his new born niece. The only condition was it have red in it and the rest was up to me, which makes it so much fun to make. :)
I used the Chain of faith pattern and Fabric is Giddy by Sandy Gervais for Moda.
The completed size was 115cm x 115cm so I only needed 16 blocks making this quilt so easy and fast.
For the binding I used Denyse Schmidt ~ Picnics and Fairgrounds in dots.
A little personalising requested and Ta Da! All done and waiting for beautiful little Salina Ruby to enjoy for years to come!
If you would be interested in a similar quilt please contact me at lydia@dreampatch.com.au. I would love to make another!!

Salina received the fantastic quilt today, we are hugely impressed. This quilt is a work of art, all we can say is, thank you so much for the extraordinary effort made to create such a delicate piece. It is beautiful, our family will treasure it forever. Thanks again, from Chel, Dan and Salina.

I love your quilt! I saw it on flickr when I checked to see if anyone had made any of the quilts I designed for Moda Bake Shop. It's great to see it made up in different colors. Yours is wonderful.
