Sneak Peek...

Just wanted to quickly share with you a mini project I'm working on. I've never really been a huge scrappy quilter but Jolene at Blue Elephant Stitches really inspired me to give this kinda quilting a go. I put this together with some scraps from various quilts and this in itself is a huge thing for me. I love opening up new charm packs or buying fresh fabrics so pulling all these out on a whim was the first step to embracing this style. I am a turquoise kinda girl so I might be a bit biased when it comes to this colour combo but I think it turned out great. (apologies for the bad pic above)

I don't want to give to much away until the secret recipient receives their little parcel. ;)

  2. This is looking SO pretty- my favourite colours too! And good on you for getting out of your comfort zone by using up the scraps! I am the total opposite- give me scraps and I create, give me a charm pack and I am paralysed with fear!
