The big reveal!


Well not so big but still a reveal.

I made this mini quilt as a wall hanging for my cousins little boy.  He loves his cars and as soon as he saw the back that's all he wanted to look at. I'm sure he would want to hang it backwards if he got his choice. :) As long as he likes it.




I hand stitched around the appliquéd letters as I did with my "Dream" cushion in 2 alternating colours and finished it off with hand binding. I made the entire front from scraps of blue, some which I'm pretty sure were in the quilt I made for him at his baby shower.


I also added these tabs on the corners for a piece of dowel to keep it straight when hung. 



I really enjoyed making it and am thinking there will probably be a few more posts similar to this in the near future.
