Progress Report.

It's that time again... time to bare it all and confess my crafting progress or lack of.

After starting my zillionth project this week I've got a few more to add to the "Things to do list"

Firstly I'm actually really happy that this one is out of my sewing cabinet... 

My lollipops gone triangle quilt is almost done. Just finishing up the binding tonight.

Iv'e got 6 more blocks done of the Farmers Wife quilt along which brings my total up to 15. Still behind but I knew that would happen.

I've got 5 of my hexagon diamonds done and I'm kinda thinking maybe I should pick a colour theme. I'll see how my scraps go in the meantime.

The Ruby quilt is ready for basting. I'm hoping to be able to show you soon.

And the untouched...

My dresden quilt hasn't changed. I still haven't even showed you the Jelly girl quilt. 

All in due time I guess. 

Well I better get dinner on... Little Miss is going to eat me if there isn't any food on her plate soon. :)

Completely Hexed!!

I'm such a sucker!! I just have to see a picture of something I like and I'm already starting a project that I know I really don't have the time for. You'd think I'd learn my lesson...
(I know I'm not alone in this boat)

But in my defence starting a new project is so exciting and trying out hexagons for the first time just got my curiosity going. Since I started though I can't stop. 

This is the quilt that finally got me to try it out. I L-O-V-E it. I haven't been around blog land that long but I've never seen a quilt like this. I've been trying to find a project to make with solids and this one just caught my attention as fast as a "sale" sign.

At the moment I'm walking around the house taking my hexi project from room to room in a kitchen bowl. It's not very inspiring. Until that is... I found this...

Now I've got my head down trying to finish this little project to make my bigger project more fun to carry around. I wish I could explain the logic in this but there really isn't any. What can I say I've got the attention span of a fly when it comes to sewing projects. (Insert cheeky grin here) 

In saying that I finally finished my lollipops gone triangles quilt. I'm about to baste my Ruby quilt and my Farmers wife quilt along has grown to 14 blocks. I'll be doing a WIP post hopefully tomorrow to show you.

Bargain fabric.

I L-O-V-E a bargain. (that's probably why I'm an e-bay junkie)

I picked up these beauties for less than $10 the lot!! 2 meters of fabric for under $10 is almost unheard of. And here is the really great part... I had a voucher on me so I got them FOR FREE! Hehehehe (now you know why I was so excited to tell you about it) Gorgeous fabrics for my stash. I'm really loving orange at the moment. Don't know why just really caught my eye. :)
