Still kicking...

Yup I'm still here. Still sewing and still breathing.

I wanted to share a work in progress with you. A lovely lady got in touch with me asking to make her a gender neutral quilt for her bub on the way. Her colours of choice were green, aqua, grey and red.

Minimal white preferred. She loved my ruby quilt and wanted something similar.
It really is a stunning combo of colours. Oh if only I had a picture of the gorgeous chair she has ordered for the nursery. I want one. It is upholstered in a lettered fabric in white with green and navy letters. Similar to the lettered print in the Reunion collection for Moda.

Just got to put these rows together and get quilting.

A finished quilt.

One quilt done and dusted is this gorgeous Peter Rabbit themed quilt.

It was so fun to make and it came together really fast, even after I changed my mind about the brown binding and unpicked it all.

But the pale blue/green is much nicer on the eyes. Even Mr DP agreed. :)

This is going to be a very adorable finishing touch to one little boys nursery.

P.s. I really was planning on writing this post earlier but as usual time got away from me. But that's not a new excuse. I'm working on a few projects including one big one which I will be sharing within the next couple of months. One of them a commissioned pirate quilt. ;)
